2.4 Students develop skills for careers at home or in Canada

Canada has plenty of career opportunities to offer international students. If they decide to return home, the knowledge, skills and experience they gain from their Canadian education can benefit their home country. The Post-Graduate Work Permit (PGWP) enables international students to gain professional work experience in Canada for up to three years upon program completion.  (Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, 2023)
